SHOULD I USE A CREATINE LOADING PHASE?
The simple answer is NO. You do not need to load creatine.
Many supplement companies will tell you that you "must" do a loading phase to get the most benefit from creatine.
And while it is true that using a loading phase is the fastest way to increase creatine levels in the muscles, your muscle levels will eventually become saturated when using a daily low dose of 3-5 grams of creatine.
The loading phase only speeds up the satiety process, but it is also known to be associated with more bloating and problems with the digestive organs.
Moreover, creatine is something you will use for years and years to come. Think of creatine supplementation as fitness - something you commit to for the long haul. There is no immediate need for a loading phase, unless you are an athlete who needs to get going a week or two after a competition.
