ALLNUTRITION NAC - what is it?

ALLNUTRITION NAC or N-acetyl L-cysteine is a modified form of cysteine attached to the acetyl group. Cysteine - one of the endogenous amino acids (i.e. that can be synthesised by the body), contains sulphur. Due to its specific structure, it is a highly reactive amino acid, binds many toxic substances and is therefore helpful in detoxification processes. L-cysteine (together with glutamine and glycine) is also essential in the synthesis of glutathione - a strong intracorporeal antioxidant. It also participates in the synthesis of proteins, enzymes and coenzymes.

Ingredients: N-acetylcysteine (NAC), starch, anti-caking agents: calcium carbonate, silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; capsule (bovine gelatin, water, colouring agent: titanium dioxide).
